  1. Beth Cobner says:

    Dear Joy,

I have just come across your inspirationl quote “The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away”. I am, at the moment, searching for ‘old’ ( over 100 years old -because of copyright) profound quotes to ‘hand’write on cards to spread the message. This quote resonates so much with me I was wondering if you would give me permission to use it.

    With much love,

    Beth xxx

  2. Joy says:

Well, it’s not 100 years old! It is a wonderful quote isn’t it? When you say you want to “hand” write it on cards, how do you intend to use the cards, just for a couple of friends or in a commercial way? Please let me know and let’s keep talking. In love and caring, Joy

  5. Lesley Pain says:

“The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away”

Is this your quote Joy? Or Pablo Picasso’s?

  6. Joy says:

Think that it is mine, that I wrote it. It has been credited to me for years. It went viral way back when I had a business called Ignite The Community Spirit. Just a couple of months ago someone credited it to Picasso. However except for that one person it does not get listed as his. So its out there as mine.

  7. Lesley Pain says:

Well it certainly is a great quote 🙂

Thank you for your comment Adam. If you google Joy Golliver you will see that I have been given credit for the quote for many years. It has gone viral and is on many other websites with my name.
